Our family is growing!!!!

We feel so blessed and are very excited that we will soon be a family of four!! Our new little addition is due to arrive on June 2nd, and it's a girl!
Aiden's reaction when he found out he would be a big brother as we were having dinner......
Danny: Aiden, you are going to be a big brother, there is a baby in Mommy's tummy!!
Aiden: (As he slaps his hand on the kitchen table, starts laughing, and looks down at my stomach) There is not a baby in there!Align Left
Toddlers are so visual.....and at 1st he really thought Danny was just telling a funny joke! As of now, he gets it as he continues to look at my stomach and remind me everyday "Mommy, the baby sure is growing!"

Christmas 2011

Watching the Christmas Season unfold through the eyes of a 3 year old was so.much.fun!!! The joy and magic that it brings is amazing!
You can only sort of capture the huge smile on Aiden's face here as he meets Santa and his Reindeer.
Sneaking one of Santa's cookies.
The crane was by far Aiden's favorite gift from Santa!!!

Cousins....I have to say getting a picture of these 2 was actually easy, getting a cousin picture next year may be a different story...there will be double the cousins!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Aiden!!!!

Bulldozer cake for his construction birthday party! Aiden's only request was...it must have a scoop in the front and the back!

Having a birthday treat at Red Robin after a nice birthday lunch!!
It's hard to believe that my baby boy is already 3!!

Halloween

Aiden in his pirate costume at story time. Unfortunately, this is the only photo I have of him in his pirate costume. He played in it so much, by the time Halloween came around he didn't even want to dress up.

LOVE Fall!

Tractor Ride

Aiden giving Stella her 1st tractor ride; it looks like she is enjoying it!

Celebrating a Milestone!!!

Papa Danny turned "60" this year! We celebrated with a family weekend in Grafton. Had a great time! Wish I had a photo of the view from the house we stayed in.....it was amazing. For a few days after we returned home, Aiden would say, "let's go back to the house we stayed in."
Pumpkin Patch

Pony Ride
This is how Aiden took his nap when we got home on Sunday. I think it's safe to say that he had a great time and was exhausted! He really is sleeping in these photos with his pumpkin next to him, and no I did not put the pumkin there.

Grant's Farm- October

Love the look on Aiden's face here. lol

Fire Station Open House

Wow!! Check out all the buttons!
Going for a ride in the fire truck.
Putting out the fire.

Celebrating a Milestone!!!

Grandma Karen turns "50". To Moonshine for cheeseburgers, then, took a hike on a beautiful fall day!!

Grandma Karen and Aiden
Taking a family hike. Aiden thought he was something else......just like Uncle Chris with his walking stick!

Lion King in 3D

Aunt Jackie and Mama took me to my 1st 3D movie The Lion King!

Toy Story on Ice- September

Aiden and Aunt Julie

Balance Bike

So, the balance bike is a fairly new concept. Kids ride a bike with no training wheels or pedals. They push off and glide; by learning balance it is suppose to make learing to ride without training wheels easier.
When I mentioned getting a "balance bike" for Aiden. Of course, Danny thought I was crazy.....why would we spend $100 on that, and then turn around and buy him a bike. He told me to find a cheap bike, and that he would make it into a balance bike for him!
I was out on a Sat morning jog, and I came across this beauty at a garage sale ($5 later it was mine, and Danny had a project) It has been perfect!! Aiden was thrilled, because he kept specifying that his bike must be red, like Dad's!

He quickly caught on!
I LOVE this!...Everytime I look at this pic, I can see Aiden's face and his comment "look mama, Daddy can ride bronco style just like Georgie (Cureous George)." He has been obesessed with Curious George, and believe it or not Georgie does ride his bike like this in the book, bronco style!

Camping- September

We had a camping trip planned for Sept., and we had to cancel due to rain and Aiden was sick. So, it was a good reason to put the tent up in the backyard and let Aiden find out what camping is all about! This led to bedtime stories, flashlights, sleeping bags, smores, and.........Daddy carrying Aiden in the house at 3am. Aiden did great! He was sound asleep, I think Daddy was getting a pain in his back and dreaming of his cozy bed just steps away!!

Go Cards!!!

After posting this pic, my 1st thought....Daddy and Aiden are both going to need new jerseys. Albert Pujols was definitely Aiden's first sports love, hero. When I broke it to him that Albert was going to play for the Angels, he said,"I'm going to cry, because I'm sure going to miss him!" Since then, he has asked several times if we can go watch Albert play for the Angels. lol
When you ask Aiden what happened to Albert, he will tell you that he went to play for the Angels. And ask why, he says, "They gave him too much money!" as he shrugs his shoulders and throws his hands up.
I have a feeling that David Freese will fill the void in this lil' man's eyes. He has been talking about David Freese alot.
Enjoying the game!! WOW, you really look like Uncle Jeffy here.

We attended several games this past season, and I never would have dreamed the Cards to win the World Series!!!

Go Cards!!! What an awesome year!!! World Series Champs 2011!!
